Dental Team
Our dental team is truly what makes our dental office so wonderful. They’ve put so much effort into creating an environment that’s warm, welcoming, and a place that patients want to call their dental home. Below, you can read more about some of the friendly faces that you’ll see around our dental office, like what they like to do outside of the dental office and their educational backgrounds.
Colleen, Office Manager
Colleen has nearly four decades of experience in dentistry, almost all of which has been spent as part of Grateful Dentists! She deeply enjoys working with generations of local families and building long-lasting relationships with both our new and existing patients. And, as a bonus, she gets to work with her daughter, Rebecca, every day as well.
She and her husband, Brian, have been married for almost 40 years, and they have three children. She loves cooking and entertaining friends and family with all of her Greek family recipes. During the summer, you’ll almost always find her on the beach.
Hazel, Office Manager
A Billerica native, Hazel has three decades of experience in the dental field, and she loves what she does. She started as a dental assistant before moving to office manager, and she attended various off-site weekend training dental classes for office administration. Today, meeting patients and building relationships while working alongside a fantastic team is her favorite thing about her job.
Away from the office, Hazel loves being with her children, her grandchildren, and her three labradors. She also spends time at her summer place in Old Orchard Beach Maine with family and friends. One interesting fact: her real name is Linda—her nickname is “Hazel.”
Rita, Front Desk Administrator
Originally from Lowell, Rita received on-the-job training to learn everything she knows within the dental field. The best part about her job is greeting each patient with a smile and watching them leave with one, too.
At home, Rita spends much of her time with family and loved ones. She enjoys a life of balance, whether in regard to food or making sure she stays active. One fun fact about her is that she’ll never turn down a karaoke session!
Melissa, Dental Hygienist
Melissa has more than 40 years of dental experience. Originally from Danville, she graduated from Middlesex Community College. Her favorite part of her job is getting to treat patients of all ages and working with them to keep their mouths healthy.
Melissa has been married to her husband Leo for over four decades. Together, they have three adult children and nine grandchildren. Outside of the office, Melissa likes spending time with her family and going on vacation with her husband.
Diana, Dental Hygienist
With well over four decades of experience in the dental field, Diana loves being able to work with amazing coworkers and helping patients—all of which have become like family to her. Originally from Arlington, she studied at Middlesex Community College and worked as a dental assistant and at the front desk for seven years before deciding to attend dental hygiene school.
If you don’t see her at the office, Diana is typically spending time with her family, her three grown daughters, and her grandson. She also enjoys walking her dog, Luna.
Emily, Registered Dental Hygienist
Emily is a native of Lowell who studied dentistry at Mount Wachusett Community College. She’s proud to have both her dental hygiene license and a local anesthesia permit. She loves having the chance to help patients feel more confident about their smiles.
When she’s not at the office, Emily likes to spend time reading. She also often goes on weekend getaways.
Maddy, Dental Assistant
Maddy hails from Rindge, and she has worked in the dental field as an assistant as well as an office manager. She previously assisted doctors at Belmont Manor with cleaning the teeth of nursing home patients. She has experience in oral surgery and periodontal services, and she strives to help improve the confidence of our patients.
Maddy is the youngest of seven children, and she has 14 nieces and nephews. Her hobbies outside of work include tennis, running, working out, singing, reading, and playing the guitar. She also loves animals and has a Russian Blue cat named Blue!
